MISSION STRATEGY
Together has embraced an Acts Mission Strategy:
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
The "Jerusalem" of Together is Berkeley County, SC.
The "Judea" of Together is the State of South Carolina.
Together is a member of the Missionary Church South Carolina District, an organization committed to the multiplication of healthy churches in South Carolina.
The "Samaria" of Together is the United States. Together Church is affiliated with the Missionary Church (www.mcusa.org),
an evangelical family of churches committed to church planting and world missions.
The "ends of the earth" of Together is the development of global mission partnerships.
Together has partnered with the following organizations/missionaries in a global mission effort:
World Partners
World Partners is the international ministry of the Missionary Church.
Commissioning over 80 missionaries who work alongside a host of national workers, World Partners is developing a ministry focused on making disciples around the world.
Haitian Christian Projects
One of our goals is to provide an opportunity for people to experience ministry in a third world country. We take many week-long mission trips throughout the year. Mission trips can be tailored to fit the individual group and the gifts they bring.
Fulfilling Needs. Creating Hope
Lowcountry Orphan Relief, Inc. (LOR) is a non-profit organization that provides goods and services to children who have been abused or neglected. We work directly with other non-profits, schools, foster parents, and government agencies to identify the individual needs of these and other children in severe situations. We intervene at critical junctures in the lives of these children, with products and services that provide a strong, positive impact.
The Blessing Box Project
Blessing Boxes are stocked with non-perishable food items, basic toiletries, baby supplies, and anything else that might be considered a blessing to someone who finds themselves in need. Items are anonymously donated and anonymously received and available at any time day or night.
